(1) Parish Registers for St Georges Church in Fordington have not survived for the period 1640 to 1663 inc. The Will was written on 20th March 1649 and she must have died shortly before the Inventory of her goods and chattels was compiled (which states she is deceased) and dated in the year 1655. Because of the Civil War it was not approved until after the restoration and is among a group of Wills and Administrations cleared in 1661. Although parish registers have not survived Tamsine is listed as a tenant in both the 1615 and 1650 Surveys of Fordington Manor. In 1615 her age is estimated to be 40 but 35 years later as 60? We know from her will that like the vast majority Tamsine was illiterate (5) Tamsine HUNT: Clearly unmarried in 1649 when she would have been aged 19.
